Slippery Rock Golf Club & Events Center (previously, Oakview Golf Club), has been one of Butler county’s best kept secrets, until now! Founded in 1928 by visionary and entrepreneur Ralph A. Nicholas, this course itself has only changed hands 3 times in its 92 year history. December 2019, marks the milestone when family members of Mr. Nicholas purchased the course to reclaim its family ties and make SRGC&EC a destination location for golfers and foodies alike. Between our Pro Golfer, Rob McClellan, and Chef Neal Hutchinson, our members and guests have the best of both worlds.

This semi-private golf club located in Slippery Rock, PA, offers an excellent golf course at the best rates in its class. In addition to the well-groomed fairways and greens, you will find a golf shop, driving range, restaurant, bar and lounge patio, plus, banquet facilities that hold up to 300 people for all your special events. Upstairs, nestled atop the clubhouse, is a 3 bedroom, 1600 sqft apartment, complete with remodelled kitchen and bath for fun Stay and Play weekend, or can be added to any events package as needed.
